Clipstone Headstocks offers visitors an immersive experience exploring a unique collection of Cold War vehicles, all maintained in working order. During National Cold War Heritage Week, visitors can join a guided one-hour tour showcasing an impressive range of military and civil defence vehicles, including a Shilka anti-aircraft gun, Alvis Stalwart, Green Goddess fire engine, Austin K9, Commer AFS, Daimler Ferret, Ford 1.5 ton truck, Jeeps, Land Rovers, ambulance units, and more. The site provides a hands-on insight into Cold War-era transport and preparedness, bringing this period of history to life through fully operational exhibits.
