The Tank Museum brings the story of tanks and their crews to life through the world’s finest collection of armoured vehicles, displayed in awe-inspiring, modern exhibitions.
During Cold War Heritage Week, visitors will have the chance to come face-to-face with the Main Battle Tanks of the Cold War from both sides of the Inner German Border.
Across the exhibitions, you’ll discover the historical, strategic, and cultural context of the Cold War period, and how it continues to shape the world we live in today.
Explore how iconic tanks such as the Chieftain, Leopard, and M48 would have measured up against the Soviet T-64 and T-72, discover how the Centurion inspired a much-loved Dinky Toy, and find out why Action Man famously commanded a Scorpion tank.
