We are looking for candidates who would be interested in undertaking an oral history recording at Dover Castle.
We would love to speak to people with lived experiences who worked within the tunnels at Dover Castle and during the Cold War period (1947 – 1984), helping build a greater understanding of the tunnels’ complex during this time.
This will help further explore and add to our understanding of the tunnels at Dover Castle during WWII, helping to add to the lived experiences and memories of the tunnels complex, and the story of Dover Castle.
If this is something you would be interested in, or you know someone who may be able to help, please reach out to Grace Parsonage (Assistant Curator at English Heritage). Her email address is grace.parsonage@english-heritage.org.uk.
