Alconbury Weald sits on the historic RAF airbase site and is rich in Cold War heritage. During National Cold War Heritage Week, 1-hour curator-led tours reveal the building’s sophisticated design and its role in the UK’s Cold War operations. Tours offer a rare insight into the military’s secretive Cold War operations and how historic landmarks have been conserved and integrated into the modern mixed-use development. Visitors can learn about the base’s operational history and experience a unique Cold War site that remains largely hidden from the public eye.
