The Yorkshire Air Museum will host the official launch of National Cold War Heritage Week 2026, bringing together key voices from across the UK’s Cold War heritage sector.
This press-focused event will feature contributions from the Cold War Network, Yorkshire Air Museum, York Army Museum and English Heritage, alongside a special live presentation from Iain Betson on the Wartime Broadcasting Service.
The event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from those preserving and interpreting Cold War history, while exploring one of the UK’s leading aviation museums.
Light refreshments will be available, including teas, coffees and pastries.
